Tamil flm actor Vijay reached Thiruvananthapuram to celebrate the stunning success of his newly released film ‘Vettaikaaran’, in which Anushka is the heroine.

He arrived at Thiruvananthapuram Ariport at 11 a.m on Friday and given a warm welcome by the fans association and shibu, the distributor of the film in Kerala, Thamin’s Release.

Vijay reached the New Theatre, where his film is exhibiting, with the procession of fans.

Hundreds of fans came over to attend the function. Police found difficult to control the people and fans.

At the premises of theatre he was given a hearty welcome and he watched the movie with fans for a while. By afternoon he reached Sree Chithra Poor Home and served food.

In the evening he held discussions with fans associations and at 6 p.m he left to Chennai, the location where his 50th film `Sura’ is progressing.
